This year, we seek nominations and self-nominations for the following positions, which will be elected by the membership at MATC:

1. External Communications Officer (2-year term, Organizational Leadership)
    

2. Internal Communications Officer (2-year term, Organizational Leadership)
    

3. Accessibility Officer (2-year term, Organizational Leadership)
    

4. Associate Conference Planner (2-year term, Conference Planning Track)
    

5. Treasurer (4-year term)
    

6. Graduate Student Liaison (2-year term, Graduate Liaison Track, elected by graduate student members only)
    

7. Co-Chairs for the following symposia:

   • Theatre History

   • Playwriting

   • Pedagogy

   • Practice/Production

   • Emerging Scholars

   • Articles-in-Progress / Pitch Your Book
      

For in-person nominations, be sure to attend the Business Meeting at 2pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026!

For advance nominations, please send all information requested below to the NE Committee at vicepresident@matc.us.
 

To nominate an individual other than yourself:

1. Submit a letter of nomination (no more than 1 page)

2. The individual's contact information
    

To self-nominate:

1. Send a brief description (no more than 500 words) of your qualifications and plans for the office

2. A current CV
    

Please note: nomination statements will be shared with the membership via digital platforms.
